Business Development Manager

About Dephina Based in Würzburg (Germany), Wuxi (China), and Dubai (UAE), Dephina develops and maintains Biosafety, Thermal Comfort, and Energy Saving technologies and products, delivered as total solutions to thousands of clients worldwide based on their specific needs and environment. In the Middle East, Dephina brings an innovative outdoor cooling system; NooriClimate & Coolbeach. This is a high-growth initiative addressing real challenges in the region's outdoor comfort market, and it comes with genuine career advancement opportunities for the people who help build it. About the Role We're looking for a Business Development Manager to develop and convert business opportunities for Dephina's outdoor cooling solutions across the UAE/Middle East. You'll build a project-level opportunity pipeline, develop distributor relationships, and drive solution-led deals from first conversation through signed contract. You'll be the face of Dephina in front of developers, contractors, consultants, and distributors, turning relationships and leads into signed business. This is a builder's role: you'll work closely with a small, cross-functional team and have direct influence over how we go to market. Key Responsibilities 1. Develop and convert business opportunities for Dephina's outdoor cooling solutions in the UAE & Middle East including proactively sourcing and opening new accounts. 2. Build and maintain a project-level opportunity pipeline, identify client pain points and needs, develop targeted solutions, and meet sales targets. 3. Represent Dephina at industry events, trade shows, and forums; converting leads into qualified pipeline. 4. Prepare and deliver client-facing proposals, presentations, and commercial terms in coordination with technical and leadership teams. 5. Proactively identify and map the key decision-makers within target industries including hotel, resort, and F&B groups (owners, managers, directors) and manage the relationship through to a signed decision. 6. Build and maintain a network of distributor and channel partners, supporting onboarding, due diligence, and long-term relationship management. 7. Provide market feedback (competitor activity, pricing, client needs) to inform product and go-to-market decisions. 8. Drive solution-led deals from concept through to signed contract, navigating multi-stakeholder buying processes where the initial contact is rarely the final decision-maker. Requirements 1. 3+ years of B2B business development experience in the UAE & Middle East, within hospitality and real estate developments (HVAC/cooling/MEP experience is a strong plus, not a strict requirement). 2. Proven, demonstrable track record of self-sourcing and closing new business independently. 3. Experience identifying and engaging actual economic decision-makers, and navigating multi-stakeholder buying committees. 4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, a genuine passion for sales, and strong customer service awareness. 5. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to represent a young, growing brand credibly in front of established players. 6. Comfortable operating with startup-level ambiguity and resourcing. 7. Fluent in English, Arabic (Preferred).
