Senior Business Development Executive (Team Lead)

Are you a commercial leader who can still win deals yourself while getting the best out of a team of hungry business development executives? Our client is a fast growing UAE technology company whose smart city and mobility solutions are used by property owners, developers, asset managers and government entities across the region. The business has a strong base of live deployments and recurring revenue, and it is now scaling its commercial function. They are hiring a Senior Business Development Executive in Dubai to lead a BD team and drive the next stage of new business growth. This is a true player coach role. You will not step back into pure management. You will carry your own pipeline and personally lead the most strategic and high value opportunities, while coaching, managing and holding the team accountable to their numbers. What's in it for you: • A leadership step up with a team already in place, so you can shape how it sells rather than build from scratch • Ownership of the strategic and high value deals that shape the company's growth • A direct line to the Head of Business Development and senior management on major opportunities • Base salary AED 15,000 to 18,000 per month, plus performance based incentives in line with the company's compensation structure What you'll be doing: • Managing, coaching and developing a team of Business Development Executives, including setting targets, running one to one sessions and pipeline reviews, and improving performance where needed • Personally originating and closing new business with senior decision makers across real estate, facilities management and government • Leading commercial negotiations, proposals and business cases on significant deals, from first contact through contracting and handover • Owning an accurate team pipeline and forecast, and reporting risks and opportunities to the Head of Business Development • Building account strategies for key prospects and working with Operations, Projects, Finance and Legal to ensure every deal is commercially viable • Representing the business at industry events and building the relationships that generate recurring, long term revenue What we need: • 5+ years in B2B business development or sales, with a proven record of meeting or exceeding targets • Hands on experience managing, mentoring or leading sales or BD professionals • Experience managing complex, multi stakeholder sales cycles, ideally with developers, asset managers, facility managers or government buyers • Background in mobility, real estate, proptech, facilities management, smart city or technology solutions is a strong advantage • Strong commercial and financial understanding, with disciplined CRM and forecasting habits • The drive to keep selling and the maturity to lead others, and the ability to do both well If you want to lead a team without giving up the thrill of closing deals yourself, we'd like to hear from you.
