Description Job Purpose: To perform and support all front-line registration, eligibility verification, and appointment scheduling activities accurately and efficiently. The role ensures smooth patient flow, compliance with payer requirements, and delivery of a positive patient experience through timely and precise data entry, coordination, and communication. Key Responsibilities And Duties • Register patients accurately in the hospital information system (HIS), ensuring all demographic and insurance data are complete and verified. • Schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments according to physician availability and departmental policy. • Validate insurance eligibility and approvals prior to service delivery in alignment with payer and CHI/NPHIES requirements. • Ensure all required documents (e.g., insurance cards, ID, pre-approvals) are valid, current, and scanned into the patient record. • Maintain updated healthcare practitioner information, including Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) license numbers and validity. • Handle patient inquiries and provide clear communication regarding appointments, eligibility, or billing requirements. • Coordinate with clinical and billing teams to address incomplete or inaccurate patient data. • Process cash and card payments, ensuring proper documentation and reconciliation at the end of each shift. • Generate and review daily transaction summaries, ensuring consistency between HIS data and financial logs. • Uphold Fakeeh Care's confidentiality, safety, and compliance standards in all interactions. • Participate actively in continuous improvement, attending periodic training sessions on patient registration systems and eligibility processes. • Other duties as assigned within the scope of the job. Requirements Skills And Abilities • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills. • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage simultaneous admissions and discharges. • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and service quality. • High attention to detail and data accuracy. • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Hospital Information Systems (HIS/NPHIES). • Strong understanding of medical insurance, eligibility, and billing workflows. • Problem-solving and decision-making skills with a focus on patient-centered care. Experience • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in healthcare administration and admissions. Education • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or similar field.
