Role Description The Business Development Manager for UAE Climate Compliance Law is a full-time, hybrid role based in Dubai, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities related to climate compliance and environmental regulatory services in the UAE. Day-to-day activities include researching regulatory changes, building and maintaining relationships with corporate clients, government bodies, and industry partners, and preparing tailored proposals and presentations for compliance solutions. The position involves collaborating with technical and legal teams to align service offerings with UAE climate and environmental regulations, negotiating contracts, and driving revenue growth. The Business Development Manager will also track market trends, maintain a robust sales pipeline, and provide regular performance and forecast reports to leadership. Qualifications • Strong knowledge of UAE climate compliance law, environmental regulations, and sustainability frameworks, with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into business solutions. • Business development and sales experience in environmental services, consulting, or related industries, including client acquisition, account management, and contract negotiation. • Research, analytical, and strategic planning skills for assessing market opportunities, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments. • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills to engage corporate clients, government entities, and internal teams. • Proficiency with CRM tools, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and basic data analysis for pipeline management and reporting. • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Law, Business, or a related field; a master’s degree or specialized certification in environmental law or sustainability is an advantage. • Demonstrated ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet revenue and growth targets. • Prior experience in the Middle East market and familiarity with ESG, carbon management, and environmental compliance services is highly beneficial.
