Role Description The CIVIL ENGINEER (ADM Approved) will work on-site in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, in a full-time capacity. This role involves planning, designing, and overseeing civil engineering aspects of real estate and infrastructure projects to ensure alignment with Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) standards and local regulations. The civil engineer will prepare design drawings, technical reports, and calculations, coordinate with architects, contractors, and authorities, and review project specifications and tender documents. Daily responsibilities include site inspections, monitoring construction progress, resolving technical issues, and verifying that work complies with approved designs, safety requirements, and quality benchmarks. The role also includes contributing to stormwater management solutions, supporting project planning and scheduling, and providing regular updates to management and stakeholders. Qualifications • Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering skills, including experience in structural, infrastructure, and site development projects. • Planning skills, with the ability to manage project timelines, resources, and coordination among multidisciplinary teams. • Stormwater Management experience, including drainage design, flood mitigation, and compliance with local environmental and infrastructure standards. • Professional experience as Civil Engineers in urban development or real estate-related projects, preferably within the UAE. • ADM approval or eligibility for ADM approval, and strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi Municipality codes and regulations. • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline; professional certification or membership in a recognized engineering body is an advantage. • Proficiency in relevant engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar tools) and strong technical report-writing skills. • Effective communication and collaboration abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, quality, and ethical professional practice.
