Role Description The Offshore and Onshore Civil Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The role involves designing and reviewing civil engineering solutions for both offshore and onshore projects, including structural components, foundations, and infrastructure systems. Daily responsibilities include planning and coordinating project activities, preparing technical drawings and specifications, conducting site inspections, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. The engineer will collaborate with project managers, construction teams, and external stakeholders to monitor progress, address technical issues, and optimize designs for safety, durability, and cost efficiency. The role also includes preparing reports, supporting tender documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement of engineering and maintenance practices. Qualifications • Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering skills for planning, analyzing, and delivering safe and efficient offshore and onshore structures. • Experience working as Civil Engineers on construction and maintenance projects, including coordination with multidisciplinary teams. • Planning skills for scheduling, resource allocation, and project coordination across multiple sites and phases. • Stormwater Management expertise for designing drainage systems, flood control measures, and related infrastructure. • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline; professional registration or eligibility is an advantage. • Strong knowledge of international engineering standards, local regulations in the UAE, and industry best practices. • Proficiency with civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, structural analysis tools) and familiarity with offshore engineering considerations. • Effective communication, problem-solving, and report-writing skills, with the ability to work on-site in a multicultural environment. • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality control, and environmental compliance in construction and maintenance activities.
