About the Job NexRevo Global is a growing engineering and project management consultancy delivering complex infrastructure and large-scale development projects across international markets. We are seeking Quantity Surveyors – MEP & Civil to support commercial management, quantity surveying, cost control, contract administration, and project commercial activities for large-scale building, infrastructure, airport, hangar, and construction projects. Candidates with combined Civil and MEP Quantity Surveying experience will be highly preferred. The Quantity Surveyors will work closely with project managers, engineers, design teams, site teams, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, procurement teams, and other project stakeholders to ensure effective cost management and commercial control throughout the project lifecycle. Role Summary The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing Civil and MEP quantity surveying and commercial activities, including quantity take-offs, cost estimation, BOQ preparation, budgeting, measurement, valuations, variations, claims, subcontractor payments, and final accounts. The role requires strong technical knowledge of both Civil works and MEP systems, with the ability to independently measure and price works from construction drawings and maintain effective commercial control throughout the project. Key Responsibilities * Independently perform quantity take-offs for Civil works, including concrete, structural works, internal/external finishes, joinery, and associated construction works. * Independently perform quantity take-offs for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, ELV, and HVAC works from construction drawings. * Prepare detailed in-house budgets, cost estimates, BOQs, and material quantity schedules for Civil and MEP works. * Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and scope of works to identify quantities, scope changes, and commercial implications. * Review and evaluate subcontractors’ interim payment applications and final accounts for Civil and MEP packages. * Measure, evaluate, and price variation orders and additional works. * Prepare cost analyses and support commercial and contractual claims with accurate quantity measurements. * Monitor project costs, budgets, commitments, expenditure, and commercial performance. * Review subcontractor and supplier quotations and support commercial evaluations and negotiations. * Maintain accurate quantity measurement sheets, cost reports, variation records, payment records, and commercial documentation. * Coordinate with design, procurement, project execution, engineering, and site teams to maintain effective commercial control. * Prepare cost forecasts, commercial reports, variation statements, and financial updates. * Assist with the preparation, evaluation, and settlement of final accounts. * Support contract administration and ensure compliance with contractual requirements. * Identify potential commercial risks, quantity discrepancies, scope changes, and cost impacts. * Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Consultants, Contractors, Subcontractors, Procurement, and Site Teams on commercial and QS matters. Required Skills & Qualifications * Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. * Minimum 5+ years of total Quantity Surveying experience. * Strong experience covering both Civil and MEP Quantity Surveying is highly preferred. * Minimum 3 years of experience on major public buildings, airport, aircraft hangar, infrastructure, or industrial projects in the UAE is preferred. * Strong experience in quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, budgeting, measurement, valuation, and cost control. * Proficiency in CostX, Bluebeam, or equivalent quantity take-off software. * Good knowledge of MEP measurement and costing. * Familiarity with POMI, CESMM, or other recognized measurement standards. * Good understanding of FIDIC Conditions of Contract. * Experience in variations, claims, interim payments, subcontractor accounts, and final accounts. * Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract documents. * UAE/GCC construction experience is strongly preferred. * RICS, CIOB, or equivalent professional accreditation is an advantage. * Strong analytical, numerical, commercial, negotiation, coordination, and reporting skills.
