Job Responsibilities: • Manage quantity surveying and commercial activities for high-rise building projects. • Prepare BOQs, quantity take-offs, cost estimates and budgets. • Review drawings, specifications, contracts and scope of work. • Measure completed works and prepare interim payment applications/certificates. • Prepare, evaluate and negotiate variations, claims and change orders. • Monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow and monthly cost reports. • Prepare CVR (Cost Value Reconciliation) and cost forecasts. • Evaluate subcontractor quotations and negotiate subcontract packages. • Review and certify subcontractor payment applications. • Manage subcontractor accounts and prepare final accounts. • Assist with tendering, procurement and commercial negotiations. • Coordinate with project managers, consultants, clients, subcontractors and suppliers. • Maintain proper contractual and commercial documentation. • Ensure compliance with project contracts, specifications and UAE construction practices. Mandatory Requirements: • 6+ years’ experience as a Civil Quantity Surveyor. • Strong experience on high-rise building projects (15+ floors) is mandatory. • UAE/Dubai construction experience strongly preferred. • Currently based in Dubai/UAE & Immediate Joiners preferred. • Strong knowledge of civil/structural building works, including concrete, rebar, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, façade and finishes. • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related field. • Excellent Excel/MS Office skills; CostX, AutoCAD, Bluebeam or similar QS software is an advantage. • Strong communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
