Quantity Surveyor

Position Title: Quantity Surveyor Employment Type: Full Time Job Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE About the Client: A leading Abu Dhabi based interior design and fit-out company with over 25 years of experience delivering high-end, turnkey interior solutions across diverse industries. Job Description: • Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, tender submissions, pricing, and quantity take-offs for interior fit-out and joinery projects, ensuring cost competitiveness and project profitability. • Manage pre- and post-contract QS activities, including cost planning, valuations, variations, contract administration, cost control, procurement support, and final account preparation. • Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements to identify cost-saving opportunities, value engineering solutions, and commercial risks, while ensuring compliance with project budgets. • Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations, prepare tender comparisons, monitor project costs, and manage variations/change orders throughout the project lifecycle. • Coordinate with design, procurement, project management, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure effective commercial management and successful project delivery. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline, with 8–10 years of relevant UAE/GCC experience in Quantity Surveying. • Mandatory strong experience in interior fit-out and joinery, with proven project experience across Commercial, Residential, and Hospitality sectors. • Strong expertise in estimation, BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, cost planning, tendering, valuations, variations, contract administration, procurement, and cost control. • Strong knowledge of interior fit-out materials, finishes, joinery, subcontractor pricing, and procurement, with excellent negotiation and commercial management skills. • Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and QS/estimation software, with strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
