Civil Project Engineer ( Swimming Pool & Water Feature Construction )

Job Purpose: To support the execution and supervision of civil works on-site, with a focus on swimming pools and water features, ensuring works meet approved drawings, structural specifications, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: • Review civil/structural drawings and specifications for swimming pools, water features, and associated hardscape works. • Supervise site execution of pool shell construction (excavation, formwork, reinforcement, concreting, waterproofing). • Coordinate with MEP teams to ensure proper embedment and coordination of pool pipework, fittings, and electrical conduits within civil works. • Monitor waterproofing application and quality control for pool structures and water features. • Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with structural drawings, tolerances, and finishing standards. • Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors for material delivery, manpower planning, and work sequencing. • Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, inspection checklists, and site documentation. • Assist in resolving on-site technical and coordination issues related to civil works. • Ensure compliance with HSE standards and quality assurance procedures on-site. • Report progress, risks, and issues to Project Manager / Sr. Civil Engineer. Qualifications & Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent). • Minimum 3–5 years of civil engineering experience, with prior hands-on experience in swimming pools and water features construction. • Strong knowledge of pool shell construction, waterproofing systems, and structural detailing. • Familiarity with relevant construction codes and standards. • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office. • Good site supervision, coordination, and problem-solving skills. • Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
