Key Responsibilities • Develop and define project objectives by reviewing project proposals, drawings, and execution plans, and coordinating closely with management and stakeholders. • Prepare detailed project designs, conduct feasibility studies, and perform site inspections to ensure constructability and compliance. • Plan, monitor, and control project execution to ensure timely delivery within approved schedules, budgets, and quality standards. • Prepare, update, and manage detailed work schedules for manpower and site activities to maintain smooth workflow in accordance with the approved program. • Independently manage and supervise site activities, ensuring proper coordination of manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors without direct supervision. • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions to mitigate delays, risks, or cost overruns. • Ensure full compliance with applicable codes, standards, specifications, contract documents, and local authority requirements. • Conduct quality assurance and quality control inspections to verify that executed works meet approved drawings, specifications, and finishing standards. • Review contractor and subcontractor submittals, including prequalification documents, material submittals, method statements, shop drawings, and technical documentation. • Monitor subcontractors’ performance and workmanship, ensuring all works are executed in accordance with contract requirements. • Analyze project risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations to optimize cost, time, and quality outcomes. • Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, records, logs, and correspondence. • Review and evaluate contractor claims, including Extension of Time (EOT) and Variation Orders, and provide technical analysis and recommendations. • Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for civil works and assist in cost control activities. • Review monthly progress payment applications and invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual terms. • Ensure client requirements and expectations are met and maintained throughout all project phases, adapting to evolving project needs. Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. • Minimum 6–8 years of experience in a similar role, with 4–5 years of proven experience in Dubai / UAE. • Strong knowledge of civil construction practices, finishing standards, and quality control procedures. • Demonstrated ability to manage construction sites independently. Technical & Professional Skills • Proficiency in AutoCAD and civil engineering design tools. • Strong skills in site development, planning, scheduling, and construction methodology. • Solid understanding of BOQ preparation, cost control, and contract administration. • Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
