Workshop Mechanical Technician - Jeddah

What will you be doing at MBRF? • Perform mechanical repair, refurbishment, modification, welding and fabrication activities for machinery and equipment • Operate machine shop equipment such as lathe, milling machine, shaper, planer, drill press, grinders and band saw • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance according to established maintenance standards and procedures • Inspect and maintain workshop equipment, special tools and spare equipment in good working condition • Read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic drawings • Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability activities together with the Maintenance team • Ensure proper workshop housekeeping and comply with HSE, GMP, 5S, HACCP and food safety requirements What kind of profile are we looking for? • Technical diploma/certificate in Mechanical Trade, Turning, Welding or a related technical field • Minimum 3 years of experience in machine shop, welding and mechanical maintenance activities, preferably within Food/FMCG or a similar industrial environment • Hands-on experience in arc welding, gas welding and argon/TIG welding • Experience operating lathe, milling, drilling, grinding and other machine shop equipment • Knowledge of mechanical components, drives, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and lubrication • Ability to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings • Basic knowledge of SAP and MS Office is an advantage • Business-level English proficiency • Based in Jeddah or willing to relocate What competencies are key to this role? • Strong hands-on mechanical and troubleshooting skills • Safety and quality awareness • Attention to detail and workmanship • Good organization and workshop discipline • Teamwork and communication skills • Flexibility to support different maintenance activities and working hours What can you expect from MBRF? • Being part of a global, collaborative and dynamic working environment • Strong corporate culture with commitments to customers, employees & environment we serve • Vertical, horizontal, and cross-functional growth opportunities • Competitive compensation package Apply now and be part of MBRF!
