Job description: Job Purpose • CL BD Manager will be responsible for driving the growth of our contract logistics business within Middle East Region. • Primarily involved in direct contact with customers/clients & CEVA network to acquire new business or develop existing business to ensure sales targets are met and in line with our Go to Market Strategy. • CL BD Manager will be tasked with identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key clients, and collaborating with our CEVA CL BD Sector Heads to develop that drive business growth and identify potential opportunities and build and RFQ agenda of the Region. • The CL BDM will need to maintain an active new business prospect listing to approach and present CEVA. Undertake new business sales calls to win new business • The person will have a strong track record in sales and business development, with a deep understanding of the contract logistics industry. Key Accountabilities • Gains new business to achieve the set target, Develop and execute business development strategies that drive revenue growth and market share expansion within ME. • Ensures regular and constant business sales calls and visits in accordance with set activity KPI’s, plans and reports them to the CL BD Head . • Pursue sales leads and do opportunity assessment to be aligned with our GTMs and ensures that all sales leads are actioned and responded to in a timely manner . Identify and pursue new business opportunities in key verticals and industries, including, technology, Automotive and retail& consumer goods (incl E-comm) • Ensures that proposals are prepared and presented in a professional manner. • Ensure that monthly reporting is finalized by month end and updates C-View. • Undertake sales presentations to customers and business communities to present CEVA and its products and services. • Develop a new business prospect listing to ensure that future new business development is planned in advance. • Generate and distribute specific reports as required in alignment with the position. • Maintain close working relationships with the Customer Service, Operations and Contract Logistics team. • Work with the pricing team to ensure new business / RFQ wins after reviewing the solution and discuss and understand each and every part of it to be represented to the Customers. • Participate in industry events and conferences to build brand awareness and promote our contract logistics services. Required Education & Experience • Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or related field • 10+ years of experience in sales and business development or related to the Contract Logistics activities, with a proven track record of success in the contract logistics industry · Required Skills • Good understanding of CL customer and market dynamics and requirements. • Knowledge of contracting, negotiating. • Makes customers and their needs a primary focus of one's actions; develop and sustain productive relationships. • Explore alternatives and positions to reach outcomes that gain all parties' support and acceptance. • Develop and use collaborative relationships to accomplish work goals; develop individual relationships by listening, sharing ideas and appreciating others' efforts. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to internal and external stakeholders • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed business decisions • Ability to travel, both domestically and internationally • Strong knowledge of the contract logistics industry, including industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements • Well organized, flexible and able to work with across various functions and able to communicate at all levels in the organization As a global organization, and as part of the CMA CGM Group, diversity is critical to our business success; only when we can reflect the cultures, languages, behaviors and local knowledge of our customers, we can succeed.
