Job Title: Receptionist Location: Dubai, UAE Employment Type: Full-time Industry: Exhibitions & Events Job Summary We are looking for a professional, friendly, and well-organized Receptionist to manage the reception area and provide administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day office operations. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a professional appearance, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities • Welcome and greet visitors, clients, suppliers, and business partners in a professional manner. • Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls and messages. • Manage the reception area and ensure it is clean, organized, and presentable at all times. • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, courier deliveries, and documents. • Coordinate with relevant departments regarding visitors, meetings, deliveries, and appointments. • Maintain a visitor log and ensure proper visitor procedures are followed. • Schedule and coordinate meeting rooms and assist with meeting arrangements. • Handle general inquiries and provide accurate information to employees and visitors. • Assist with basic administrative and clerical tasks, including filing, scanning, photocopying, and document preparation. • Maintain office supplies and coordinate with the relevant team for replenishment. • Support the HR and Administration teams with employee-related administrative tasks when required. • Coordinate with suppliers, courier companies, and service providers. • Assist in organizing office events, meetings, and company activities. • Maintain confidentiality of company and employee information. • Handle any other administrative duties assigned by management. Requirements • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field. • 1–3 years of experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Executive, Administrative Assistant, or similar role. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Professional and pleasant telephone etiquette. • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. • Good interpersonal and customer service skills. • Professional appearance and positive attitude. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Good knowledge of English is required; Arabic is an advantage. • Previous experience in the exhibition, events, hospitality, or corporate industry is an advantage.
