IT Systems and Support Engineer (Power Plant Experienced)

Our client is one of the leading Energy based companies and are looking for a IT Systems and Support Engineer (Arabic Speaker) to join their team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Key Responsibilities will Include: • Responsible for the planning, installation, configuration, maintenance, upgrade and administration of organizations systems, phones and network. • Responsible to troubleshoot IT-related issues, investigate user problems, identify route-causes, remedies, test and implement solutions. Ensure timely user notification of maintenance requirements and perform troubleshooting out of operational hours to reduce systems/networks down-time. • Accountable to evaluate the end-users’ needs, and order hardware and software when required to meet the operational requirements. • In charge of the implementation, administration and troubleshooting of Microsoft Exchange, Share Point, Domain Controllers, Central Printing Servers. • Maintain and improve high safety standards in accordance to QHSE procedures. Responsibility to enroll in safety tours and submit observation cards related to HSE frequently. • Responsible to ensure the servers/ End Users security by upgrading the systems with latest security. • Accountable to review/ adhere and implement IT Policies and procedures. Who we’re looking for: • Must have a bachelor’s degree in IT. • Fluent in Arabic and English. • Must have a minimum of 5 years working experience in IT Engineer roles, or 3 years power and desalinization plant IT work experience. • Must have certifications. • MAXIMO Experienced. • Experience with computer, servers, IP phones maintenance and troubleshooting techniques. Plan, install, configure, maintain, upgrade and administer organizational systems, phones and network. Engage in after-hours troubleshooting to reduce system/network downtime. Evaluate end-user needs and procure hardware and software as required. Implement, administer, and troubleshoot Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, Domain Controllers, and Central Printing Servers. Maintain high safety standards in accordance with QHSE procedures and participate in safety tours. Ensure servers and end users are secured by applying latest security measures. Review and implement IT Policies and procedures.
