The ideal candidate will lead the planning, execution, authority approvals, utility coordination, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover of large-scale public electrical infrastructure projects across Abu Dhabi while ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in compliance with all applicable regulations. Responsibilities • Manage the complete project lifecycle from planning through final handover. • Lead all authority approvals, permits, utility connections and NOCs. • Coordinate with TAQA Distribution, Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM), ADQCC, Civil Defense and other relevant authorities. • Manage consultants, contractors, suppliers and utility providers. • Review designs, shop drawings, technical submissions and project schedules. • Supervise civil and electrical infrastructure works, testing, commissioning and energization. • Ensure compliance with TAQA, ADM, ADQCC, IEC standards and UAE regulations. • Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards and executive • presentations to Top Management covering project progress, approvals, schedule, budget, risks, delays and recovery plans. • Conduct regular coordination meetings and ensure timely closure of action items. Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Abu Dhabi managing public electrical infrastructure or utility projects. • Proven experience delivering similar infrastructure projects from concept through commissioning. • Must be a TAQA Distribution Approved Competent Electrical Engineer. • Must be an Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) Approved Electrical Engineer. • Must hold a valid ADQCC Electrical Engineer approval/certification (where applicable). • Expert knowledge of TAQA Distribution, ADM, ADQCC and other authority approval processes, submissions, permits, NOCs, inspections and energization procedures. • Extensive experience obtaining Premise IDs, LDN approvals, TPD approvals, LV connection approvals and utility NOCs. • Strong knowledge of LV infrastructure, substations, transformers, electrical distribution networks and IEC standards. • Experience managing consultants, contractors and government stakeholders. • PMP certification is preferred. • Valid UAE Driving License.
