Senior Manager - Procurement

Job Purpose: We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Procurement to lead the end-to-end procurement process for major real estate developments in Abu Dhabi. The role is responsible for managing tendering activities, contractor and consultant procurement, commercial negotiations, bid evaluations, and award recommendations while ensuring best value, compliance, and alignment with project delivery objectives. The successful candidate will work closely with Design, Development, Cost, and Delivery teams to support the successful execution of large-scale residential and mixed-use developments. Job Responsibilities: • Maintain master list of pre-qualified consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers. • Prequalifying new entities into the pre-qualified master list • Assist in maintaining a procurement department plan for ongoing / upcoming tenders • In conjunction with other departments, establish tender lists for consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers. • Prepare / review of request for proposals / request for tenders prior to issuance to the market. • Attend to bidders queries pre-opening in coordination with other departments. • Analyze returns from bidders taking note of qualifications / exclusions / normalization. • Conduct negotiations in an ethical and professional manner with bidders’ post submission of original tender. • Prepare, compile, and issued post tender clarifications. • Prepare recommendations for shortlisting / award for internal sign off. Education &Experience Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Quantity Surveying or relevant degree. • Worked previously with a Developer in a procurement function for more than 3 years. • More than 7 years overall experience.
