Key Responsibilities Business & Sales Support • Support the achievement of regional sales targets in line with the MEA business plan. • Develop a strong understanding of Trina Solar's PV product portfolio, technology roadmap and product strategy. • Partner with MEA Sales Managers to provide product and technical support for Utility and Distribution market opportunities. Market Intelligence • Maintain close communication with customers to understand market needs, collect feedback and identify new opportunities. • Monitor market trends, customer requirements and industry developments. • Analyze market information and recommend improvement actions. • Prepare regular market and business intelligence reports. Product Launch & Promotion • Support regional new product launches and commercialization activities. • Coordinate launch planning, localization of marketing materials and promotional toolkits. • Organize customer seminars, webinars, exhibitions, product training and customer visits. • Deliver product presentations and technical demonstrations. Competitor Analysis • Monitor competitor products, pricing, market strategies and business activities. • Conduct quarterly competitive analysis and benchmark Trina Solar products against key competitors. • Provide recommendations to strengthen product positioning in the region. Product Management • Support local product certification activities across the MEA region. • Track certification progress and coordinate with certification agencies and HQ. • Prepare required technical documentation and certification materials. Technical Pre-Sales Support • Respond to customer technical inquiries regarding PV modules and Balance of System (BOS) components, including inverters, mounting systems and trackers. • Support utility-scale project applications, including installation concepts for fixed-tilt and tracker systems. • Conduct PV system simulations, energy yield assessments and value engineering analysis. • Prepare technical proposals, project simulations and sales support materials. Requirements Education • Bachelor's Degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related Engineering discipline. Experience • Experience in the photovoltaic (PV) industry with a strong technical background. • Experience in product management, application engineering, technical marketing or pre-sales support is highly preferred. • Experience supporting utility-scale solar projects will be an advantage. Skills • Strong knowledge of PV modules and solar system applications. • Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills. • Customer-oriented with strong commercial awareness. • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and cross-functional environment. Technical Skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office. • Experience with PVsyst is preferred. Language • Fluent in English, both written and spoken. • Mandarin Chinese proficiency is preferred to facilitate communication with HQ and global stakeholders. Other Requirements • Willingness and ability to travel frequently across the Middle East & Africa region. • Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently in a fast-paced international environment.
