Job Title: Procurement Coordinator Job Code: JPC - 6292 Location: Abu Dhabi Experience: 7-8 year Education: Bachelor s Degree Industry: Defense & Space Manufacturing Language: English Job Description To receive Purchase Requests, verify completeness, identify possible suppliers and obtain quotations. To negotiate best purchasing package in terms of quality, price, terms, delivery and service with suppliers. Responsible for the preparation and process of purchase orders and documents in accordance with policies and procedures. Coordinate with user departments and suppliers in the purchasing scope of work for projects assigned. Manage and follow-up orders placed with suppliers, thus confirming order progress and status. Monitor and co-ordinate deliveries of items between suppliers to ensure that all ordered items are delivered to the correct site/store on-time. Handling and monitoring of claims to suppliers for nonconforming product/services, shortages and/or missing deliveries. Maintain complete updated procurement records. Bachelor's degree; 7-8 years of procurement experience; experience negotiating with suppliers; familiarity with purchase orders, supplier coordination, and payments/reconciliation.
