Job Purpose : We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – ICT & Telecom Systems Integration to lead the end-to-end delivery of complex technology and telecommunications projects across Service Provider, System Integration, and enterprise customer environments. The role is responsible for managing the complete project lifecycle, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, vendors, client expectations, financial performance, and successful project closure. The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of Project Management experience within the ICT/Telecom industry, with strong exposure to multi-technology projects, system integration, service providers, vendors, and client-facing project delivery. Key Responsibilities Project Delivery & Governance • Plan, manage, and execute end-to-end ICT and Telecom projects from initiation through implementation, acceptance, and closure. • Manage complex, multi-technology projects involving internal teams, customers, vendors, partners, and other stakeholders. • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resource requirements, and success criteria. • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and delivery roadmaps. • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, within agreed scope, and according to quality requirements. • Establish appropriate project governance, reporting, documentation, and escalation mechanisms. • Monitor project KPIs and proactively address deviations from agreed plans. Client & Stakeholder Management • Act as the primary project interface between the organization and the customer throughout the project lifecycle. • Work closely with clients to understand business and technical requirements and ensure project objectives remain aligned with customer expectations. • Manage day-to-day client interactions, expectations, escalations, and project communications. • Conduct regular project reviews and present progress, milestones, risks, financial status, and key decisions to stakeholders. • Develop strong working relationships with customers and identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and strengthen long-term relationships. Team & Vendor Management • Lead cross-functional project teams consisting of engineers, technical specialists, solution teams, operations teams, vendors, subcontractors, and business stakeholders. • Coordinate activities across multiple technical workstreams and ensure dependencies are effectively managed. • Manage third-party vendors and partners against contractual commitments, project schedules, and agreed deliverables. • Clarify roles, responsibilities, ownership, and accountability across project teams. • Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across projects and delivery teams. Risk, Scope & Quality Management • Identify project risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints and develop appropriate mitigation and contingency plans. • Manage scope changes and prevent uncontrolled scope expansion. • Ensure project changes are properly assessed, documented, approved, and incorporated into project plans. • Minimize commercial, operational, and delivery risks across assigned projects. • Implement appropriate quality assurance and project review processes. • Ensure project execution complies with organizational methodologies, contractual requirements, and relevant industry standards. Project Financial Management • Own and monitor project budgets, revenue, cost, margins, billing, and overall financial performance. • Track actual project expenditure against approved budgets and forecasts. • Monitor project profitability, utilization, revenue recognition, and commercial performance. • Coordinate with Finance and Commercial teams to ensure timely and accurate invoicing and revenue recognition. • Monitor receivables and support the resolution of billing or payment-related issues. • Identify potential cost overruns and implement corrective actions to protect project margins. Required Experience & Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline. • 5–8 years of Project Management experience within the ICT or Telecom industry. • Demonstrated experience managing projects within Service Provider, Telecom Operator, ICT Vendor, or System Integration environments. • Proven experience delivering complex, multi-technology ICT/Telecom projects. • Strong experience managing customer-facing projects and senior client stakeholders. • Experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, vendors, and financial performance. • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams and multiple external vendors. • Strong understanding of project governance, reporting, change management, risk management, and quality assurance. • Good commercial awareness with experience in project budgeting, profitability, invoicing, and revenue tracking. Preferred Qualifications • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management certification is highly desirable. • Experience working for a Telecom Operator, ICT Service Provider, Technology Vendor, Managed Services Provider, or System Integrator. • Exposure to projects involving multiple ICT/Telecom technologies such as networking, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, data centers, enterprise solutions, or managed services would be advantageous. • Strong customer-facing presentation, negotiation, communication, and escalation-management skills.
