Deputy Area Sales Manager – Heavy Machinery (UAE Region) About the Role: Join Zoomlion Gulf FZE as a Deputy Area Sales Manager (Heavy Machinery Equipment) in the UAE. We are seeking an experienced and results-driven area Sales Manager to lead our sales operations, drive revenue growth, and expand our market presence across the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in heavy machinery or construction equipment sales, strong leadership capabilities, and an in-depth understanding of the UAE market. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets. • Lead, mentor, and manage the regional sales team to ensure consistent achievement of individual and team KPIs. • Identify new business opportunities and establish strategic relationships with key customers, contractors, rental companies, and government entities. • Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients while expanding the customer base. • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to develop effective sales strategies. • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and periodic performance reports for management. • Support key customer negotiations, pricing strategies, and contract discussions. • Coordinate with internal departments including Operations, Service, Finance, and Logistics to ensure seamless order execution and customer satisfaction. • Oversee financing, payment collection, and outstanding receivables within the region. • Ensure compliance with company policies, sales procedures, and regional regulations. • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and customer meetings to strengthen brand presence. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in any discipline (mandatory). • Engineering graduates will be preferred. • MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration will be an added advantage. • Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory). Preferred Candidate Profile: • Minimum 8–12 years of experience in heavy machinery, construction equipment, or industrial equipment sales. • At least 3–5 years of experience leading and managing a regional sales team. • Strong knowledge of the UAE heavy equipment and construction industry. • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth. • Excellent leadership, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills. • Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience in sales forecasting and budgeting. • Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic language proficiency will be an added advantage. • Currently based in the UAE with the ability to travel extensively across the region.
