Role - Warehouse in charge Salary - upto 3500+ Food, OT, Accommodation, InsuranceKey Responsibilities Warehouse Operations • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows. • Supervise the receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of materials. • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of inventory. • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to meet operational requirements. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Inventory Management • Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels. • Conduct regular cycle counts and support physical inventory audits. • Monitor stock movements, transfers, and adjustments. • Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions. • Ensure adherence to FIFO/FEFO inventory practices where applicable. Team Supervision • Guide and supervise storekeepers and warehouse assistants. • Allocate daily tasks and monitor team performance. • Ensure compliance with company policies, warehouse procedures, and safety standards. • Train team members on warehouse processes and best practices. Documentation & Reporting • Prepare and maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), delivery notes, issue vouchers, and stock reports. • Ensure all warehouse transactions are accurately recorded in the ERP system. • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and warehouse reports. • Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Logistics, and Finance teams regarding material availability. Health, Safety & Compliance • Ensure compliance with warehouse health and safety regulations. • Conduct regular inspections of warehouse equipment and storage areas. • Promote safe material handling practices. • Report damaged materials, equipment issues, or safety hazards promptly. Qualifications • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience • 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior storekeeping role. • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, construction, or trading environments is preferred. • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or similar is an advantage.
