The Foundation manages several flagship initiatives including the Ras Al Khaimah Art Festival, Al Jazeera Al Hamra Heritage Village, scholarships, research programmes, publications, and community initiatives. As the Foundation continues to expand its profile nationally and internationally, we are seeking an exceptional Senior Graphic Designer who will elevate our visual identity and ensure every communication reflects the highest standards of creativity, professionalism, and brand excellence. Position Overview The Senior Graphic Designer will lead the conceptualisation, design, and execution of high-quality creative work across the Foundation's entire portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who combines exceptional creative talent with strategic thinking and meticulous execution. The successful candidate will transform complex ideas into elegant, engaging visual communications while maintaining the highest standards of corporate branding and design consistency. Working closely with the Director of PR & Events, this position will play a critical role in shaping the Foundation's visual identity across publications, campaigns, events, exhibitions, digital platforms, reports, and corporate communications. This is a fast-paced, high-performance role requiring excellent organisational skills, strong commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple high-profile projects simultaneously without compromising quality. Key Responsibilities 1. Corporate Branding & Visual Identity • Lead the creative development and implementation of the Foundation's corporate visual identity. • Develop sophisticated visual concepts aligned with the Al Qasimi Foundation's strategic objectives. • Ensure brand consistency across all Foundation initiatives, including the Al Qasimi Foundation, Ras Al Khaimah Art Festival, Al Jazeera Al Hamra Heritage Village, Research, Scholarships and Grants, Community Programmes, Human Resources, Partnerships, Podcast Series, and C-Suite Interviews. • Develop and maintain comprehensive brand guidelines. • Ensure all creative outputs comply with the Foundation's brand standards. 2. Corporate Publications Lead the creative design, layout, and print production of annual reports, quarterly newsletters, impact reports, strategic plans, corporate profiles, research publications, policy papers, event reports, sponsorship decks, partnership proposals, and executive presentations, including concept development, layout design, infographic creation, illustration, image selection, typography, preparation of print-ready artwork, printer liaison, and press supervision. 3. Campaign Development • Develop integrated creative campaigns to support research, scholarships, the Ras Al Khaimah Art Festival, Al Jazeera Al Hamra, events, conferences, community initiatives, recruitment campaigns, grant programmes, and corporate branding initiatives. • Deliver a wide range of creative assets, including key visuals, campaign identities, digital advertising, social media assets, outdoor advertising, print collateral, event branding, exhibition graphics, and environmental graphics. 4. Creative Direction • Provide creative leadership in photography direction, visual storytelling, typography, illustration, iconography, motion graphics, exhibition branding, environmental graphics, signage systems, and event look and fee. • Ensure all creative work reflects a modern, sophisticated corporate aesthetic. 5. Events & Exhibition Design Design all creative assets for Foundation events, including stage branding, exhibition graphics, event identities, invitations, digital screens, signage, wayfinding, banners, brochures, awards, certificates, merchandise, and environmental branding. 6. Print Production Manage end-to-end print production, including printer briefing, colour proofing, material selection, print supervision, quality assurance, vendor management, and delivery scheduling. Ensure exceptional production quality across all printed materials. 7. Digital Design Design creative assets for websites, landing pages, email campaigns, social media, digital advertising, video thumbnails, presentation templates, motion graphics, and interactive PDFs. 8. Brand Governance • Protect and strengthen the Foundation's visual identity. • Review all creative outputs before publication. • Ensure brand consistency across departments. • Develop templates for organisation-wide use. • Provide guidance on visual communication best practices. 9. Stakeholder Management Collaborate closely with the Leadership Team, Director of PR & Events, Communications Team, Research Team, Arts & Culture Team, Events Team, Partnerships Team, and external agencies and suppliers, including printers, photographers, videographers, illustrators, and other creative service providers. Position Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Multimedia Design, Visual Arts, or a related field. • Minimum of 7–10 years of professional experience in graphic design, supported by a strong corporate portfolio. • Experience working with government, semi-government, corporate organisations, cultural institutions, universities, NGOs, or destination marketing organisations will be highly regarded. • Demonstrated experience designing annual reports, corporate publications, brand guidelines, corporate identity systems, strategic reports, high-end presentations, marketing campaigns, event branding, print collateral, and digital campaigns. • Expert proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft PowerPoint. • Highly desirable: experience with Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Figma, Canva Pro, AI-assisted creative tools, photo editing, and motion graphics.
