Quantity Surveyor Abu Dhabi, UAE ALFIRAS General Contracting L.L.C. is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor. We are seeking a highly motivated professional with a solid background in the construction contracting industry who can effectively manage project costs and commercial activities from project award through final account. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and cost estimates. • Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and contract requirements. • Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations. • Evaluate, prepare, and negotiate variations, claims, and change orders. • Prepare interim payment applications, valuations, and final accounts. • Manage subcontractor procurement, evaluations, payments, and final settlements. • Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow, ensuring effective cost control. • Prepare commercial reports and provide cost analysis to project management. • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams on commercial matters. • Identify commercial risks and recommend practical solutions to maximize project profitability. Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying. • 6–8 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a construction main contractor. • Proven experience in cost estimation, contract administration, and commercial management. • Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, quantity surveying principles, and cost control practices. • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and contract documents. • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quantity surveying software.
