Senior Design Architect (RIBA Chartered) High-End Hospitality & Commercial Architecture Paying up to ADE 35,000 per month + benefits We are seeking an exceptional Senior Design Architect to join an award-winning Architecture firm, specialising in luxury hospitality, mixed-use and commercial developments. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly creative architect who thrives in a design-led environment and has a passion for delivering world-class architectural solutions. As a senior member of the design team, you will lead projects from concept through design development, collaborating closely with clients, consultants and multidisciplinary teams to create innovative, functional and visually striking environments. You will play a key role in shaping the design vision while mentoring junior architects and maintaining the highest standards of design excellence. Key Responsibilities • Lead the architectural design of high-end hospitality, commercial and mixed-use projects from concept through planning and design development. • Develop compelling design narratives, presentations and client proposals. • Produce high-quality architectural drawings, design packages and presentation material. • Coordinate with interior designers, consultants, engineers and project stakeholders throughout the design process. • Ensure designs meet client aspirations while balancing functionality, sustainability, programme and commercial objectives. • Present design concepts confidently to clients, operators and project teams. • Oversee space planning, architectural detailing and material selection. • Mentor and support junior architects and design staff. • Review project deliverables to ensure consistency with practice standards and project objectives. • Stay informed of emerging architectural trends, hospitality design innovations and sustainable design practices. Skills & Experience • RIBA Chartered Architect (ARB registered). • Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Architecture. • 8–12+ years' professional experience within internationally recognised architectural practices. • Demonstrable experience delivering luxury hospitality, commercial or mixed-use developments. • Strong conceptual design ability with an exceptional portfolio showcasing high-quality built or delivered projects. • Excellent understanding of architectural planning, spatial design and user experience. • Strong knowledge of UK and international building regulations, planning processes and industry standards. • Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite. • Experience producing high-quality presentations using InDesign, Photoshop and 3D visualisation tools. • Excellent communication, leadership and client-facing skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects within demanding deadlines.
