Senior Architect

Role Description The Senior Architect is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, responsible for leading architectural design from concept through detailed development and construction. This role includes preparing and reviewing drawings and specifications, coordinating design solutions with structural, MEP, and other disciplines, and ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations. The Senior Architect will collaborate with project managers to plan deliverables, manage design milestones, and provide technical guidance to junior team members. Day-to-day activities involve client presentations, design reviews, integration of new technologies and systems, and regular site visits to monitor construction quality and adherence to design intent. Qualifications • Candidates should possess strong Architecture and Architectural Design skills, including concept development, space planning, and detailed documentation. • Candidates should possess Project Management capabilities, such as planning, coordination, stakeholder communication, and risk management within design and construction projects. • Candidates should possess Integration skills, including the ability to align architectural solutions with structural, MEP, and other building systems. • Candidates should possess Software Development–related awareness or experience using digital tools and platforms (e.g., BIM, CAD, collaboration software) to support integrated design workflows. • Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture or a related field, with professional registration or licensure preferred. • Experience leading medium to large-scale projects, ideally in Dubai or the wider Middle East region, with thorough knowledge of local building codes and permitting processes. • Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills, with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and present design concepts to clients. • Proficiency in industry-standard design and documentation tools (such as Revit, AutoCAD, and visualization software) and familiarity with sustainable design principles.
