About izi.TRAVEL izi.TRAVEL is a global digital storytelling and tour-experience platform that helps destinations, museums, attractions, tour operators, and cultural organizations create and distribute engaging digital tours. This is a target-driven role for someone with proven experience developing partnerships within travel, tourism, attractions, destinations, or cultural experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities, building a qualified pipeline, closing commercial partnerships, and ensuring partners successfully launch and generate revenue. Key responsibilities New business development • Identify and approach high-potential partners across the travel and tourism sector. • Build and manage a structured pipeline of qualified partnership opportunities. • Conduct outbound prospecting through email, LinkedIn, industry networks, referrals, events, and direct outreach. • Arrange and lead discovery meetings, product presentations, and commercial discussions. • Understand each prospect’s commercial objectives and recommend the most suitable izi.TRAVEL partnership model. • Prepare proposals, partnership plans, pricing recommendations, and commercial agreements. • Negotiate terms and close revenue-generating partnerships. • Maintain accurate opportunity stages, activity records, forecasts, and next steps in the CRM. Partnership development • Develop partnerships with tourism boards, destination organizations, museums, attractions, tour operators, hotels, travel agencies, DMCs, OTAs, and travel technology companies. • Create opportunities for content distribution, tour sales, technology integration, white-label solutions, affiliate partnerships, and strategic collaborations. • Build relationships with key decision-makers, including commercial directors, tourism executives, destination managers, attraction managers, and digital product teams. • Convert initial discussions and registered partners into active commercial accounts. • Identify opportunities to expand existing partnerships and increase partner-generated revenue. Partner activation and revenue growth • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure newly signed partners launch successfully. • Establish clear launch plans, responsibilities, timelines, and commercial expectations. • Monitor partner performance and address issues that may delay activation or revenue generation. • Work with partners to improve product visibility, customer engagement, distribution, and sales. • Identify upselling, cross-selling, and renewal opportunities. • Maintain regular communication with strategic partners and conduct commercial performance reviews. Market development • Monitor tourism, travel technology, visitor experience, and digital-content trends. • Identify new markets, partnership categories, and revenue opportunities. • Represent izi.TRAVEL at relevant tourism exhibitions, conferences, networking events, and partner meetings. • Build a strong professional network within the travel and tourism industry. • Share market insights, competitor activity, and partner feedback with the leadership team. Revenue goals and performance measures The Partnerships & Business Development Executive will be accountable for clearly defined commercial targets. Key performance indicators will include: • Qualified partnership pipeline created. • Number of qualified decision-maker meetings conducted. • Number and value of commercial proposals submitted. • Number of new revenue-generating partnerships signed. • Percentage of signed partners successfully activated. • Time from first contact to commercial launch. • Monthly and quarterly revenue generated from new partnerships. • Growth in revenue from existing strategic partners. • Accuracy of pipeline and revenue forecasts. • Partner retention, renewal, and continued commercial activity.
