This organization manages non-technical, executive-level projects, with a strong focus on business model innovation and strategic transformation. ⚠️ Please note: This is not an IT or technical PMO role. The focus is entirely on business-led, non-technical projects tied to executive and board-level mandates. Position: Project Manager – PMO - Education sector Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates Contract Type: 6-12 months Start date: ASAP Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage a centralized PMO focused on governance, standardization, and alignment with strategic business objectives. • Serve as a primary liaison between senior leadership, board members, and operational teams to ensure project progress and alignment. • Report on project portfolio performance, timelines, risks, and issues to senior management. • Develop and improve PMO governance frameworks, strategic project plans, and reporting tools. • Coordinate with external consultants by defining scopes and monitoring progress from project start to delivery. • Facilitate strategic planning sessions with internal stakeholders, clarifying objectives, budgets, and deliverables. • Manage RFP processes and consulting engagements to ensure effectiveness and alignment. • Maintain clear communication and strong stakeholder engagement across all organizational levels throughout project lifecycles. Qualifications: • Immediate availability • Minimum 15 years of experience in PMO leadership or strategic project management in corporate, government, or consulting environments (non-IT) in the Education sector. • PMP certification to ensure strong project management discipline. • Proven ability to manage complex strategic portfolios with measurable business outcomes. • Strong experience interacting with senior executives, board members, and managing external consultants. • Fluency in English. • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Business Administration ; MBA highly preferred. • Experience in business model innovation and government-related projects will be highly advantageous. • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills.
