We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior QS Engineer to join our MEP team in Abu Dhabi - UAE. The candidate will be responsible for quantity surveying, cost estimation, contract administration, variation claims, budgeting, and project cost control for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) residential * commercial projects. Key Responsibilities • Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents for MEP projects. • Review contract documents, specifications, and drawings. • Monitor project costs, budget control, and cost forecasting throughout the project lifecycle. • Prepare and evaluate subcontractor quotations and payments. • Handle variations, claims, and contractual correspondence with clients and consultants. • Verify monthly progress billing and prepare interim payment applications. • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement, and planning departments. • Analyze project risks related to commercial and contractual matters. • Maintain records of quantities, material reconciliation, and project cost reports. • Ensure compliance with company procedures, contractual obligations, and UAE regulations. • Support final account settlement and project close-out documentation. Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in UAE MEP/contracting companies. • Strong knowledge of MEP systems, cost control, contracts, and tendering procedures. • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Skills • Experience in high-rise, commercial, residential MEP projects. • Strong understanding of material procurement and subcontract management. • Good reporting and documentation skills. • UAE driving license required Show more Show less
