Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and versatile individual to join our team as an Accountant/Administrative Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing purchasing and inventory, reconciling sales transactions, and handling various administrative tasks.The candidate should able to work in a very fast paced environment with minimal guidance. Responsibilities: Accounting: • Perform accounting activities including journal entry processing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and intercompany transactions. • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain statutory filing and tax compliance. • Complete Bank statement and payment gateways reconciliation on a weekly/monthly basis • Prepare monthly financial statements, management accounts, and annual budgets. • Collaborate with external auditors and tax authorities as needed. • Develop and implement processes and controls to enhance accuracy and completeness of financial information • Prepare and analyse detailed financial reports P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow statements and provide valuable insights to management to make critical business decisions. • Follow up with customers/clients/vendors to close any outstanding positions in a timely manner. • Perform the quarterly VAT submission on UAE FTA portal Administrative: • Manage purchasing activities, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotes, and placing orders. • Maintain inventory records, monitor stock levels, and conduct regular audits. • Manage all sales transactions across verticals in the company • Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to reconcile sales transactions and resolve any discrepancies. • Log and organize various administrative documents, such as invoices, receipts, and contracts. • Utilize accounting tools, Google Docs, and Microsoft Office Suite to perform tasks effectively. • Ensure excellent communication skills, both oral and written, for effective collaboration with team members. • Attend to customer inquiries and assist across all verticals of the company. • Act as the company PRO when needed. Reportning Line: Financial Controller Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in tax/accounting/finance or a related field. • Minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting or a similar role in the UAE • F&B/Catering Experience is a must • Strong knowledge of financial reporting requirements. • Knowledge in Restaurants and Catering Businesses is a strong advantage • High proficiency in Excel (Intermediate to advanced) • Proficiency in using accounting tools, Google Docs, and Microsoft Office Suite. • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders. • High Proficiency in English is a must, Arabic is a good advantage Note: The above is a summary of the position.
