To manage all commercial and contractual aspects of the project, including cost control, budgeting, measurements, variations, claims, and subcontractor payments, ensuring the project is delivered within budget and in full compliance with contract requirements. Job Duties and Responsibilities · Prepare & submit interim and final applications for payment certificates. · Prepare all commercial claims and requests for variations, provisional sums, new rate analysis, and adjustments to the contract price. · Follow up with the Engineer/Employer for the review and approval of all the commercial submissions. · Review and approve the subcontractor payment applications and issue the payment certificates. · Cost management, including the development of a budget, cost monitoring and control, and recommending corrective action to avoid cost overrun. · Prepare and submit all MIS reports as per the approved format in a timely manner. · Coordinate with the technical team and ensure that all the work inspection requests are submitted and approved in a timely manner. · Commercially review subcontractor quotations, prepare comparative statements, and bid tabs. · Closing out all final account for the project. · Prepare cashflow for the project budget. · Any other duties as reasonable requested by the line/function manager. Required Education · Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quantity Surveying or a relevant field Required Experience · Minimum fifteen (15) years in UAE on building projects · Must have completed a minimum of one (1) project from commencement to close out Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities · Comprehensive knowledge of all standard method of measurements, including POMI and CESMM · Comprehensive knowledge of quantity take-off and measurement for all types of work · Working knowledge of various rate analysis techniques · Working knowledge and understanding of the FIDIC Conditions of Contract · Working knowledge of MS Office, ERP systems and AutoCAD · Good organizational, planning and multi-tasking abilities · Analytical, critical, and logical thinking skills · Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines · Exceptional presentational and communication skills · Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications · Professional membership · Experience with Candy and Build Smart Show more Show less
