Hays have partnered with a leading technology solutions and digital transformation organisation to hire a Strategy Director. The ideal candidate would be a commercially minded strategy leader with a strong track record in enterprise strategy, business planning, growth execution, and transformation within technology services, consulting, or digital businesses. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping the organisation’s long-term growth strategy by working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, to define the enterprise and commercial strategy, drive strategic initiatives, establish governance frameworks, and ensure business priorities are translated into measurable outcomes across the organisation. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and drive the organisation’s multi-year enterprise and commercial strategy, including market opportunities, industry priorities, competitive positioning, and growth initiatives • Lead the annual strategic planning process and support the development of long-term business plans aligned to revenue, profitability, productivity, and transformation objectives • Translate strategy into actionable initiatives with clear ownership, milestones, KPIs, benefits, and governance mechanisms • Establish and manage strategy execution frameworks, including KPI dashboards, OKRs, initiative tracking, and executive reporting cadences • Partner with Sales, Client Engagement, and Practice Leaders to define industry-led go-to-market strategies and strategic account growth plans • Conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities, investment priorities, and strategic risks • Advise senior leadership on market trends, operating model improvements, growth opportunities, and business performance • Drive cross-functional transformation programs across business units to accelerate growth, improve execution, and enhance organisational effectiveness • Work closely with Finance and business leaders to ensure strategic initiatives are linked to commercial outcomes, ROI, and business performance metrics Key Requirements: • 15+ years of experience in strategy, management consulting, corporate planning, transformation, or technology services leadership • Strong background within technology services, digital transformation, consulting, cloud, managed services, cybersecurity, or related sectors • Demonstrated experience developing enterprise or commercial strategy, business plans, operating models, and transformation roadmaps • Proven track record working with senior executives and influencing decision-making at leadership level • Strong commercial acumen with experience assessing market opportunities, growth strategies, and business performance • Experience driving large-scale strategic initiatives from concept through execution and measurable business outcomes • MBA or equivalent advanced qualification preferred This is a rare opportunity to join a highly respected and rapidly growing technology organisation at a pivotal stage of its growth journey.
