Director – Strategy & Growth Role Overview We are seeking an accomplished Director – Strategy & Growth to lead the organization's strategic planning and growth agenda across its real estate development portfolio. The role will be responsible for shaping long-term business strategy, identifying new development and investment opportunities, evaluating strategic partnerships and joint ventures, and driving sustainable business growth. The ideal candidate will combine strong commercial acumen with deep knowledge of the real estate market to support executive decision-making and maximize enterprise value. Key Responsibilities Corporate Strategy • Develop and execute the organization's long-term strategic roadmap aligned with business objectives and market opportunities. • Lead corporate planning, business performance reviews, and strategic transformation initiatives. • Identify opportunities to expand the development portfolio, diversify revenue streams, and enhance long-term competitiveness. Growth, Investments & Business Development • Identify and evaluate new real estate developments, mixed-use projects, land acquisitions, strategic investments, and joint venture opportunities. • Lead feasibility studies, financial evaluations, and commercial due diligence for growth initiatives. • Build strategic relationships with investors, landowners, government entities, consultants, and development partners to support business expansion. Market Intelligence & Portfolio Strategy • Monitor market trends, customer demand, competitor activity, regulatory developments, and economic indicators. • Develop market insights and strategic recommendations to guide investment decisions and project prioritization. • Support portfolio optimization through data-driven market and financial analysis. Commercial & Investment Analysis • Oversee business case development, financial modeling, investment appraisals, and return-on-investment analysis for major projects. • Assess project viability, commercial risks, and value creation opportunities to support executive decision-making. • Work closely with Finance, Development, Commercial, and Investment teams on strategic initiatives. Executive Stakeholder Management • Support the CEO and executive leadership in evaluating strategic opportunities and enterprise-wide initiatives. • Lead negotiations for strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and investment collaborations. • Prepare strategic reports, presentations, and recommendations for executive management and the Board. Leadership & Performance • Build and lead a high-performing Strategy & Growth team. • Establish KPIs to measure strategic execution, business growth, investment performance, and organizational objectives. • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the business. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Engineering, or a related discipline. • MBA or Master's degree is highly preferred. • Professional certifications in Strategy, Finance, Real Estate, or Project Management are an advantage. Experience • 25+ years of experience in corporate strategy, real estate development, investments, business development, or corporate planning. • Minimum 10 years in a senior leadership role within the real estate development, property, infrastructure, or investment sector. • Proven experience in strategic planning, investment analysis, joint ventures, land acquisitions, and business expansion. • Strong understanding of the UAE/GCC real estate market and large-scale mixed-use or master-planned developments is highly desirable.
