People Manager

We're partnering with an exciting, founder-led consumer business that's experiencing rapid international growth and is now looking to hire its first People & Culture Manager. This is a unique opportunity to build and shape the people function within a scaling business, working directly alongside the founders to create an exceptional employee experience. This isn't a traditional HR role. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys building high-performing teams, creating structure, developing culture and supporting employees throughout every stage of their journey. You'll become the trusted bridge between the founders and the wider team, helping create an environment where people feel supported, engaged and set up to succeed. What you'll be responsible for: • Owning the end-to-end employee lifecycle, from recruitment through to offboarding. • Creating a structured onboarding experience that sets every new starter up for success. • Acting as the first point of contact for employee support, coaching and guidance. • Leading performance reviews, probation processes and employee development. • Driving engagement initiatives and helping shape a positive, high-performing culture. • Supporting disciplinary, grievance and employee relations matters professionally and fairly. • Advising the founders on people strategy, organisational development and employee experience. • Ensuring HR policies, processes and compliance are in line with UAE Labour Law. We're looking for someone who: • Has experience in People & Culture, HR Business Partnering or Employee Experience. • Has worked within a fast-paced, high-growth or founder-led business. • Is confident managing employee relations and difficult conversations. • Is emotionally intelligent, approachable and highly organised. • Enjoys creating structure, improving processes and building culture. • Can balance empathy with accountability. Experience in People & Culture, HR Business Partnering or Employee Experience; worked within a fast-paced, high-growth or founder-led business; confident managing employee relations and difficult conversations; emotionally intelligent, approachable and highly organised; enjoys creating structure, improving processes and building culture; can balance empathy with accountability.
