We are recruiting a Mass Market Business Development Manager - Modern Trade for one of our clients, a leading pharmaceutical company based in Dubai. About Our Client Our client is a well-established pharmaceutical company in Dubai, recognized for its commitment to innovation, quality, and patient-centric healthcare solutions. With a strong regional presence and a growing portfolio of pharmaceutical products, the company plays a key role in supporting healthcare systems across the Middle East. Key Responsibilities • Own key mass market accounts, translate ambition into commercial execution, and raise the standard of how products are positioned and executed in-store • Lead business planning, trade investment, and category leadership to drive growth that is both commercially strong and brand-enhancing, with accountability for account P&L, close collaboration with internal stakeholders across finance, supply, marketing, and other functions, and customer/channel demand forecasting that feeds into the IBP process • Develop strategic customer relationships across priority UAE mass market accounts • Manage listings, launches, pricing, promotions, and trade terms with strong commercial discipline • Resolve supply and service challenges quickly to ensure execution excellence • Develop promotional plans around key shopper and customer moments • Manage investment planning and retailer submissions with accuracy and efficiency • Drive best-in-class shelf execution, planogram compliance, and secondary placement standards • Leverage field insights and execution data to identify gaps and implement corrective actions quickly • Monitor sales, distribution, execution, and trade investment with a strong performance focus • Maintain scorecards, forecasts, and issue resolution processes with strong cross-functional discipline • Build demand forecasts by customer and channel for assigned accounts, contributing to the IBP process • Support the development of the UAE mass market growth agenda by customer, category, and brand • Recommend portfolio, pack, and pricing strategies to strengthen channel competitiveness Requirements • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Management or a related field • 6–8 years of commercial experience, with strong expertise in UAE modern trade account management • Proven track record managing leading hypermarket and supermarket customers in the UAE • FMCG experience is essential; experience in consumer health, OTC, or VMS is an advantage • Strong understanding of joint business planning, trade investment, and promotional effectiveness • Ability to use customer and market data to drive actions and influence business decisions • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and execution skills • Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage • Based in the UAE with regular field travel; a valid UAE driving license is required Benefits • Employee Benefits as per the UAE Labor Law • Competitive Salary Show more Show less
