Logistics & Store Manager

EDMP is Hiring: Logistics & Store Manager Department: Supply Chain / Operations Employment Type: Permanent | Full-Time | On-Site Location: Dubai, UAE Reporting To: COO / Operations Head Position Summary EDMP is seeking an experienced Logistics & Store Manager to oversee end-to-end logistics operations and warehouse management for our manufacturing facility in Dubai. This role is responsible for managing inbound and outbound logistics, customs clearance, inventory control, material receiving, warehouse operations, production material supply, finished goods dispatch, and transportation. The successful candidate will ensure efficient material flow, inventory accuracy, regulatory compliance, and cost-effective logistics operations that support uninterrupted manufacturing activities. Key Responsibilities Logistics Management • Plan and coordinate all inbound and outbound logistics activities. • Manage imports of SKD kits, electronic components, machinery, consumables, and packaging materials. • Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and shipping lines. • Monitor ETD/ETA and ensure timely deliveries. • Arrange sea, air, road, and courier shipments. • Track shipments and resolve transportation issues promptly. • Negotiate freight rates and drive logistics cost optimization. Store & Warehouse Management • Manage Incoming Material Store, Production Store, and Finished Goods Store. • Oversee receiving, unloading, inspection coordination, and proper storage of materials. • Maintain warehouse layouts, rack identification, and bin location systems. • Implement and maintain FIFO/FEFO inventory practices. • Conduct cycle counts and physical stock verification to maintain inventory accuracy. • Ensure proper handling and storage of ESD-sensitive and temperature/humidity-controlled materials. • Maintain 5S standards and warehouse safety compliance. Goods Receiving & Inventory Control • Verify incoming materials against Purchase Orders, Delivery Notes, Packing Lists, and Invoices. • Coordinate Incoming Quality Control (IQC) activities with the Quality team. • Ensure timely Goods Receipt Note (GRN) creation and ERP updates. • Maintain batch, lot, serial number, and product traceability records. • Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment of critical materials. • Control slow-moving, excess, and obsolete inventory. Material Issue to Production • Ensure timely issuance of materials according to production plans and Material Issue Requests (MIR). • Coordinate closely with Production Planning and Manufacturing teams to prevent line stoppages. • Manage line-side inventory and material returns. • Maintain accurate inventory transactions within the ERP system. Finished Goods & Dispatch • Manage finished goods storage and dispatch operations. • Coordinate with QA for final product release. • Ensure proper packing, labelling, and shipping documentation. • Monitor on-time customer deliveries and shipment status. Customs & Documentation • Ensure full compliance with UAE import and export regulations. • Coordinate customs clearance activities with brokers. • Verify shipping documentation, including: • Commercial Invoice • Packing List • Certificate of Origin • Bill of Lading / Air Waybill • MSDS and Dangerous Goods documentation (where applicable) • Maintain complete logistics and warehouse records for audits and compliance. Team Leadership • Lead warehouse, store, and logistics personnel. • Allocate daily tasks and monitor team performance. • Train employees on warehouse procedures, ERP processes, ESD handling, and safety requirements. • Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or Business Administration. • 7–10 years of experience in warehouse, store, and logistics management within a manufacturing environment, preferably electronics, EMS, or SMT. • Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations, import/export logistics, customs clearance, and ERP systems. • Excellent leadership, planning, analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
