Role Description The Platform Product Manager at Vivid Pulse will own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the core talent-matching platform, ensuring it serves job seekers and employers effectively. This full-time remote role involves gathering and prioritizing requirements, collaborating with engineering, design, data, and business teams to deliver features that improve search, matching, and application workflows. The Platform Product Manager will analyze user behavior and platform metrics, identify opportunities for optimization, and drive experiments to enhance engagement and conversion. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining product specifications, managing the product backlog, aligning stakeholders on releases, and ensuring high-quality, timely delivery of platform enhancements. The role also includes monitoring market trends and competitor offerings to keep the platform innovative and competitive. Qualifications • Product management skills, including roadmap development, requirement gathering, backlog prioritization, and stakeholder management. • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities, with experience using product analytics tools and A/B testing to inform strategy. • Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, operations) in an agile or similar development environment. • Understanding of digital platforms or marketplaces, preferably in recruitment, HR tech, or SaaS environments. • Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences. • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline; advanced degree is a plus. • Prior experience as a Product Manager, Platform Product Manager, or similar role; experience in high-growth or startup environments is beneficial.
