About the Job An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Waiter/ess – Pool and Beach to join Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab The main duties and responsibilities of this role include: • Must be comfortable discussing food and wine choices with guests in detail. • To maintain a friendly yet unobtrusive manner with all guests. • To control usage of all food and beverage items and appropriate usage of equipment, tools and service equipment. • To communicate with Culinary Team to ensure an exceptional dining experience for all guests. • To ensure the food pick up and service is impeccable and completed in a timely manner • Responsible for setting up tables, serving food and beverages to guests, and clearing/cleaning tables. • Communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen using the hotel’s point-of-sales system About You The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: • 1 year of experience in a similar role within the luxury industry • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Proficiency in English About the Benefits At Jumeirah, we are dedicated to fostering a vibrant community where colleagues feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow. Set up tables and serve food and beverages to guests; Clear/clean tables; Communicate guest orders and any special needs to the kitchen using the hotel’s POS system; Maintain a friendly yet unobtrusive demeanor with guests; Ensure food pickup and service is impeccable and timely; Communicate with the Culinary Team to ensure an exceptional dining experience; Manage usage of all food and beverage items and proper use of service equipment.
