Job Purpose: Lead all contractual, commercial, and financial management activities for a major airport development project. Ensure effective contract administration, risk mitigation, and compliance with project and client requirements while supporting project delivery, cost control, and commercial performance across all project phases. Key Responsibilities: • Manage end-to-end contract administration for airport construction and infrastructure packages, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions. • Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, variations, claims, and change orders with contractors, consultants, and suppliers. • Identify, assess, and manage contractual and commercial risks, ensuring timely mitigation strategies are implemented. • Oversee payment applications, valuations, and certification processes in coordination with project and cost control teams. • Prepare commercial reports, contract status updates, and risk assessments for senior management. • Support procurement activities, tender evaluations, and contract award recommendations. • Coordinate with project management, engineering, legal, finance, and procurement teams to ensure smooth contract execution. • Manage claims resolution, dispute avoidance, and resolution processes in line with contractual obligations. Qualifications and Experience: • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, Law, or related discipline; professional certification (MRICS, CIArb, or equivalent) is an advantage. • Minimum 10+ years of experience in contracts and commercial management within large-scale infrastructure or airport projects. • Strong knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC preferred), claims management, and contract administration. • Proven experience working on complex, multi-stakeholder mega projects in the aviation or infrastructure sector. • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
