Job Description: We are seeking a motivated Junior Corporate & Commercial Lawyer to support our Abu Dhabi office with a variety of corporate legal and administrative matters. The successful candidate will primarily assist with company formations, trade license renewals, corporate filings, and coordination with government authorities, while also providing general corporate and commercial legal support. This role is ideal for a lawyer looking to develop their career in corporate and commercial law within the UAE, with exposure to business setup, regulatory compliance, and company secretarial matters. Responsibilities: • Assist with company formations and business registrations across mainland and free zone jurisdictions. • Prepare documentation for new company incorporations, amendments, restructures, and deregistrations. • Coordinate trade licence applications, renewals, amendments, and cancellations. • Liaise with UAE government authorities, free zone authorities, and regulatory bodies regarding corporate matters. • Draft and review basic commercial agreements, corporate resolutions, and legal correspondence. • Support lawyers with corporate governance and company secretarial matters. • Maintain statutory records and ensure corporate compliance obligations are met. • Conduct legal research relating to UAE corporate and commercial law. • Assist with client onboarding and corporate due diligence processes. • Maintain accurate legal files and ensure timely completion of corporate matters. • Provide general administrative and legal support to the Abu Dhabi office. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB or equivalent). • 1–3 years of post-qualification experience in corporate, commercial, or business law. • Experience with company formations, trade licence renewals, and corporate administration is highly preferred. • Knowledge of UAE corporate law, company registration procedures, and regulatory requirements is advantageous. • Experience liaising with UAE government departments or free zone authorities is preferred. • Strong legal drafting and document preparation skills. • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple matters while meeting deadlines. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal practice management systems.
