Overview Candidates worked with EPC / EPCC / Construction Greenfield Projects and has worked with large scale ONSHORE new petrochemical plants & Oil & gas onshore projects of minimum 2-4 billion USD also should have independently managed team of 80-100 Quality team personnel’s QC Engineers and Inspectors will only be considered and should have mandatory Strong Construction and procurement Quality experience. About the Role Position: - Construction Quality Manager – (Construction Quality Control & Procurement) Responsibilities • Processes & Procedures Documentation and QMS (Quality Management System) • Writes and revises procedures/work instructions with process owners to a clear standard. • Support ongoing Process & Procedure Improvement and QMS enhancement. • Develop and implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP), QA/QC procedures, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and quality control processes. • Ensures all engineering deliverables, procurement activities, construction works, testing, and commissioning activities comply with contractual requirements, client specifications, and regulatory requirements. • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, client specifications, EPC contract requirements, and applicable international standards. • Monitor site construction activities to ensure compliance with approved IFC drawings, method statements, and ITPs. • Supervise inspections for civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation works. • Manage punch lists, NCRs, corrective actions, and quality close-out activities. • Coordinate system walk-downs and final acceptance inspections. • Maintain quality records, inspection reports, test results, and project documentation. • Prepare weekly/monthly quality reports for management and clients. • Supervise QA/QC engineers and inspectors. • Conduct regular site inspections. • Provide quality-related training and guidance to project teams. • Verify turnover dossiers and handover documentation. Qualifications • Bachelor of Mechanical or Metallurgical engineering, or other relevant engineering degree. • Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor. • Proficiency in quality and Continuous Improvement tools such as Lean. • Experience managing QA/QC activities for large-scale EPC projects from engineering through commissioning and handover.
