The Managing Director is responsible for providing strategic leadership and overseeing all aspects of the company's operations, ensuring the successful delivery of large-scale construction projects while driving sustainable business growth and profitability. The role is accountable for operational excellence, financial performance, client satisfaction, business development, and organizational leadership. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading major contracting organizations in the UAE, with a proven track record of delivering high-profile projects, preferably for Emaar and other leading developers. Qualifications and Experience • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline • Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage • Minimum 20 years of progressive experience within the construction industry • At least 10 years in a senior executive leadership role with a Tier 1 main contractors • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale building projects in the UAE • Proven experience delivering projects for Emaar is highly preferred • Strong commercial, contractual, and operational management experience • Extensive knowledge of UAE construction regulations, FIDIC contracts, and industry best practices Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute the company's strategic business plan, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability • Provide executive leadership across project delivery, commercial, operations, finance, business development, procurement, and support functions • Ensure the successful execution of large-scale construction projects, meeting quality, cost, schedule, and safety objectives • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, developers, consultants, government authorities, and strategic partners • Drive business development initiatives, identify new opportunities, and oversee tendering and contract negotiations • Lead operational excellence initiatives to improve project performance, efficiency, risk management, and client satisfaction • Monitor financial performance, budgets, cash flow, and overall business profitability • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, UAE regulations, health and safety standards, and quality management systems • Recruit, develop, and mentor senior leadership teams, fostering a high-performance culture • Report business performance, strategic initiatives, and key risks Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
