Authority Liaison Architect

Company Description Fatmeen Consultancy is a boutique architectural and engineering consultancy based in Dubai. The company provides feasibility studies, master planning, architectural design, structural design, MEP, landscaping, etc. Fatmeen Consultancy supports clients from concept through detailed design, tender as well as site supervision. Role Description The Authority Liaison Architect is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for coordinating and managing all design-related submissions and approvals with local authorities. You will work closely with design teams to align designs with authority standards and address comments or revisions efficiently. Daily tasks include tracking submission statuses, attending meetings with relevant authorities and stakeholders, resolving technical queries, and maintaining accurate records of approvals and permits. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture • Knowledge of relevant Software or digital tools (BIM, CAD, etc). • Knowledge of Dubai authority portals, requirements and submission processes (Nakheel and Trakhees is a must) • Demonstrated experience working with Dubai or UAE authorities (e.g., municipality, civil defense, planning departments) and understanding of local building codes and regulations. • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to represent the company effectively in meetings and written correspondence. • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple submissions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
