Equitrans Logistics LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end accounting operations, financial reporting, and ensuring strong financial controls in line with company budgets and regulatory requirements. This role plays a key part in overseeing general accounting functions, managing payables and receivables, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations, contributing to efficient and compliant financial operations across the business. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis. • Prepare and post accounting entries – AR, AP and all other transactions on daily basis. • Manage the general ledger and ensure accuracy of all financial transactions. • Prepare monthly financial statements, including petty cash, balance sheets, profit & loss, and • cash flow statements. • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections and monitor • & manage cash flow on bi-weekly basis. • Reconcile all company bank accounts and credit card transactions on daily basis. • Support monthly and year-end closing processes. • Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements, including filings and • documentation. • Prepare schedules & documentation and manage internal and external audits. • Review and improve accounting systems, policies and internal controls and recommend • corrective actions and improvements. • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. • Perform ad-hoc accounting tasks and financial reporting as required. Qualifications & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Commerce. • Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is an added advantage. • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience; experience in logistics & freight forwarding is a strong • advantage. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and UAE tax regulations. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Macros & pivot tables) and accounting software (e.g., Sage 300, • NetSuite, Oracle or similar). • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to meet deadlines and work under pressure; • proactive, detail-oriented, and independent; with high integrity and a strong commitment to • confidentiality.
