Position: Sales Manager – Exhibitions Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE WHO IS DXB LIVE? We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Manager – Exhibitions to drive revenue growth by securing exhibition-related projects, including stand construction, pavilion development, and a full range of exhibition services. The role will lead sales initiatives to expand DXB LIVE’s exhibitions portfolio and build strong, lasting partnerships with event organisers, exhibitors, agencies, and government stakeholders. WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE? • Identify and pursue opportunities with exhibitors, event organisers, government bodies, and trade delegations. • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of national and international leads. • Conduct market analysis focused on exhibitions and large-scale trade shows. • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with exhibitors and organisers. • Manage key accounts to ensure repeat business and client referrals. • Conduct site visits, stand discussions, and pre-event consultations. • Prepare technical and commercial proposals for exhibition stands and pavilions. • Lead negotiations and finalise contracts while ensuring profitability. • Translate client requirements into practical design and production briefs. • Develop sales strategies for the exhibitions vertical in line with DXB LIVE’s growth plans. • Meet and exceed revenue and margin targets. • Provide sales forecasts, competitor insights, and performance reports. • Collaborate with design, fabrication, and project management teams to ensure accurate costing and flawless execution. • Represent DXB LIVE at major exhibitions to network, prospect, and showcase capabilities. • Ensure seamless communication between clients and operational departments. • This role involves travel and extended hours during major exhibitions. WHAT YOU NEED: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Exhibition Management, or a related field. • Additional certifications in exhibitions or knowledge of 3D design are an advantage. • 5–7 years of sales experience in exhibitions, stand construction, pavilion build-up, or related industries within the UAE/GCC. • Proven track record of securing large-scale exhibition projects. • Strong understanding of exhibition stand design, fabrication, materials, and build-up processes. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. • Knowledge of Expo standards, venue guidelines, and exhibition industry regulations. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (basic understanding). • Strong presentation and proposal-writing skills. • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
