Business Development Manager – Event Rentals Dubai, UAE About Desert River Event Rentals Desert River Event Rentals supplies premium furniture, decorative lighting and event décor for exhibitions, conferences, corporate events, brand activations, hospitality events, weddings and private celebrations across the UAE. For more than 20 years, we've built our reputation on quality products, exceptional service and long-term client relationships. We're now looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to help us continue that growth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who already knows the UAE events industry and is ready to take the next step in their career. About the Role You'll be responsible for developing new business while growing relationships with our existing clients. This is a highly client-facing position. You'll spend much of your week meeting event professionals, visiting venues, preparing proposals, following up opportunities and helping clients create successful events. You'll work closely with our Operations team to ensure every project runs smoothly from quotation through to delivery. Your Responsibilities Business Development • Build relationships with new and existing clients across the UAE events industry • Schedule and attend regular client meetings throughout the week • Identify opportunities with event agencies, corporate clients, hotels, venues, exhibition organisers and production companies • Prepare quotations and proposals • Negotiate commercial terms and secure bookings • Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently follow up opportunities Client Relationships • Become a trusted point of contact for your clients • Understand their event requirements and recommend suitable rental solutions • Deliver a professional and responsive customer experience • Keep CRM records and sales forecasts accurate and up to date Teamwork • Work closely with our Operations team to ensure a smooth handover of confirmed projects Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people just as much as they enjoy working in events. You are likely to be: • Commercially minded and motivated by achieving results • Confident meeting clients and building relationships • Organised, responsive and proactive • Curious about your clients' businesses and focused on finding the right solution • Someone who enjoys being out of the office rather than sitting behind a desk Experience & Requirements This role is ideal for someone who has already built a successful career in the UAE events industry and is ready for the next challenge.
