Penspen is hiring a Senior Engineer – Onshore Construction (Electrical – PAB) to support major onshore oil & gas construction projects. Experience Required • 15+ years total experience • 3–5 years in onshore electrical construction on oil & gas projects • PMC / EPC construction background preferred • Strong knowledge of electrical systems for process and PAB facilities • Experience with LV/MV systems, cable routing, earthing & lighting • Familiar with hazardous area installations and commissioning activities • ADNOC Onshore experience is an advantage 📍 Location: Yard Key Responsibilities • Supervise and manage onshore electrical construction activities for PABs • Ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and electrical standards • Coordinate with contractors, site teams, and other engineering disciplines • Monitor construction progress and report against schedule and milestones • Review and support method statements, work procedures, and construction sequencing • Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and promote safe work practices • Support inspections, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities • Resolve site technical issues and support construction handover activities Technical & Professional Skills • Strong knowledge of LV & MV electrical systems, lighting, earthing, grounding, and cable management • Experience with hazardous area installations and oil & gas electrical standards • Familiar with IEC, IEEE, BS, and ADNOC specifications • Understanding of construction interfaces with civil, mechanical, and instrumentation disciplines • Strong contractor supervision and coordination skills Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering • Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage) Show more Show less
