Senior Construction Engineer – Mechanical Abu Dhabi. We are hiring PMC Senior Construction Engineer - Mechanical for a Gas based project in Abu Dhabi. Job Purpose The Senior Construction Engineer – Mechanical is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all mechanical construction activities for the LNG project, ensuring execution is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with ADNOC standards, project specifications, and applicable international codes. Key Responsibilities • Lead and supervise all mechanical construction activities, including piping, static equipment, rotating equipment, tanks, pressure vessels, structural supports, and mechanical packages. • Review engineering drawings, construction procedures, method statements, and work packs before execution. • Coordinate daily construction activities with engineering, QA/QC, HSE, procurement, planning, and subcontractors. • Ensure construction activities comply with ADNOC HSE policies, project specifications, approved procedures, and international standards. • Monitor construction progress against project schedules and recommend corrective actions to meet milestones. • Supervise installation, alignment, erection, testing, and commissioning support for mechanical systems and equipment. • Review and resolve construction-related technical issues in coordination with engineering teams. • Ensure all inspections and quality control activities are completed in accordance with the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP). • Participate in Mechanical Completion, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, and System Handover activities. • Verify material availability and coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to avoid construction delays. • Conduct site inspections and ensure safe work practices, including Permit to Work (PTW), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and risk assessments. • Attend project progress meetings and provide daily, weekly, and monthly construction reports. • Coordinate with client representatives, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors regarding construction activities. Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Experience • Minimum 15 years of experience in mechanical construction within the oil & gas industry. • At least 5 years in a senior construction engineering role on major EPC projects. • Experience working on ADNOC projects is preferred. • Experience in LNG plants, gas processing facilities, petrochemical plants, refineries, or large industrial projects is highly preferred.
