Event Project Manager

Company Description Modernist Group is a strategic event and communication agency founded in 2008, encompassing Modernist Event Management, MCW (Modernist Creative Works), and Studio Modern. With offices in Istanbul, Dubai, and Saudi Arabia, the company serves numerous international brands. Modernist Group successfully manages over 400 events and more than 150 digital and traditional campaigns annually. Role Description This is a full-time role for an Event Project Manager, based on-site in Dubai. The Event Project Manager will be responsible for planning and executing events, managing budgets, coordinating with clients and vendors, and overseeing event logistics. Daily tasks include developing event concepts, ensuring budget compliance, and providing excellent communication and support throughout the event planning and execution phases. Key responsibilities • Developing the event concept and format • Establishing the project budget and tracking commercial objectives • Coordinating production, logistics, and on-site operations • Managing timelines, critical paths, risks, and crisis scenarios • Post-delivery measurement and reporting Qualifications • Experience in Event Planning and Event Management • Proficient in Budgeting and Budget Management • Excellent Communication skills • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field • Experience working in a similar role within an event management agency with experience of 5 years • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is beneficial Show more Show less
