Requirements

• Qualifications
• - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC Engineering.
• - Minimum 10 years of experience in HVAC site supervision on construction projects.
• - Experience in commercial, residential, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• - Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, chilled water systems, ventilation, smoke extraction, and building services.
• - Familiarity with local and international HVAC codes, standards, and best engineering practices.
• - Professional engineering registration or relevant accreditation is preferred.
• Technical Skills
• - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office.
• - Ability to review HVAC drawings, shop drawings, calculations, and technical submittals.
• - Knowledge of HVAC testing, adjusting and balancing (TAB), commissioning, and QA/QC procedures.
• - Experience with project management and document control software is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• - Supervise and monitor all HVAC installation works on-site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• - Review HVAC shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documentation.
• - Coordinate HVAC activities with architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection disciplines.
• - Conduct site inspections to verify the quality of ductwork, piping, insulation, equipment installation, and overall workmanship.
• - Monitor contractor performance and ensure HVAC works are completed according to project schedules and milestones.
• - Verify the installation of HVAC equipment, including chillers, air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), ventilation systems, exhaust systems, and ductwork.
• - Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and health and safety requirements.
• - Review and witness testing, balancing, commissioning, and functional performance of HVAC systems.
• - Prepare and review inspection requests (IRs), testing reports, snag lists, punch lists, and close-out documentation.
• - Participate in project coordination meetings and provide technical support and progress updates.
• - Review as-built drawings and verify completed HVAC installations prior to project handover.
• - Evaluate technical variations, change orders, and site modifications when required.
• - Maintain accurate records of inspections, approvals, testing results, and site activities.
• - Support the successful commissioning and handover of HVAC systems.
